Description This is my part of the art trade with

I truly adore her artwork and was both surprised and happy that she was doing trades. -_-;; Unfortunately I wasn't sure what to draw her. Plus, my colored works take so long to do. Thus I decided to do traditional art instead. ^_^

The title comes from both Dir en grey and D, both truely great bands that I adore to death. -_- I couldn't come up with a better title so sue me.>.<

After looking at Julie's gallery for a while, this image was what I came up with. Not sure if that should be considered a good or bad thing. Anyway hope that she likes it.

Tools used: pencil, and Sharpies; touch ups in Photoshop CS
Time: two weeks trying to figure out what to do; Three days - sketching and inking.

I've noticed too that my work is more surrealistic. ^_^ I like it that way. I just wish that I could have made the hair lines a bit thinner. :/

I'm sooo happy that you like it. I plan on making more works like this soon.

Thanks. I love experimenting and had a heck of a lot of fun coming up with this image. I plan on making more art like this in the future, especially since it's so easy to do.

Thank you. I adore Dir en grey to death. Went to there concerts twice and can now die happy. LOL, but if you haven't heard of D you really need to look them up, They are a great band worth listening to.

Its seriously beautiful and like it?!?! I love it ;____;!! The small details you add in to make the whole feel abstract is priceless and GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH its so neat and clean...*____*!!! make me feel bad about my side of the trade (seriously...) Julie, what the hell are you talking about?! Your work is a 100 times better than mine would ever be. >.< But at least you like that's all that matters to me. Dude, you should have seen it before I edited it in Photoshop. T^T It was a pure and utter mess I tell you. O.O;; lol

But seriously, take your time, I can't wait to see your art trade. Oh and whenever you want to do an art trade or collab in the future, just note me. No matter how busy I am I will always find a way to do one for you.

I've always wanted to draw like this and post it on DA for a while now. I just never had the time to do it. I will definately try to post more art like this in the future.

But I can't wait to see what does on her part of the trade. I am definately sure that it will be 100 times better than mine.
