Description Took my son to Cucumber Falls today for some fun climbing rocks and splashing in the creek. He was behind me, slip-sliding on boulders, making himself a muddy mess, while I did my thing with the camera. Afterward, I put the camera away and did some creek walking down to where Meadow Run empties into the Youghiogheny River below the falls. A pretty good way to spend a Sunday morning if you ask me!

looks like the perfect place to spend a sunday morning doesnt even look like the same place without the snow! really beautiful in the summer, love that fern in the foreground, be the place i post up at too..has a wonderful view of that gorgeous exposure and light you captured. gorgeous shot, sweetie

Really wish you could have seen it without the snow and ice..but it is definitely one of those places that is neat in any kind of weather, all seasons. thanks so much for the kind words, sweetie..not sure if i chose the right comp to post (my heart liked the other one better..probably should have listened). guess i can save the other one for a rainy day!Β

Super jealous of you at the moment as I have been basically cooped up at home and busy with work and havent been out shooting since we met back at the beginning of June. And then you go out and post a beautiful waterfall. And as always, captured and processed beautifully!

Nothing to be jealous of at all. That's the first time I've been shooting around here since June as well. Other than that, the only place I've been shooting is in and around Seattle. Hope you get some time soon, though. It'll be fall before you know it...a great time to head back toward the mountains.
