Description Ascending the Snow Lakes Trail towards the Enchantment Lakes Basin in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness was quite the experience. Not only was there so much to see, hear, and feel, but the scents were almost overpowering. It was my first time in a truly alpine area, and it did indeed have a distinct aroma, almost sickeningly sweet at points.

A crisp, cool, foggy morning was the perfect start to our journey.

enchanted looking indeed!!..pretty amazing start..i can understand the overpowering thing too..not only from living it, but, just from the look of this(even w/out the smells), seems had to get your head around the scale of things..good stuff, leeanne!!

Yes, I have Photoshop...I just export from Lightroom when I'm finished. Most of my work is done in Photoshop, though.
