Yes, they are an open* species! Please read the information below, however!
However, 'open' means only if you're making one for yourself, or for a friend. Custom commissions of them, or adoptables, are out of the question.
It's sort of my bag, y'know?
Wildling Unicorns are defined as 'Classical Unicorns'. They feature several characteristics of other creatures; their hooves are cloven like deer, downward ears similar to a goat, their tails and long and tufted like a lion's, and their coats are generally thicker than most pony coats. They are a long standing species that have inhabited their areas for many generations, refusing to make way for development purposes that other species have in mind. Their main goal, no matter what tribe they hail from, is to protect the inhabitants of their establishments.
More often than not, Wildlings do not possess cutie marks. For exceptions, please read on.
The tribes Wildlings separate themselves into are defined bel yes they are an open species
