Description So I was just gonna go outside for some quick pictures... and I lost 2.5 hours in he woods
But it was so worth it!

I got this lovely squeezable Tardis from my friend as a birthday gift. I love it! It's a anti-stress tardis. I can throw it at people I have an idea of taking this little blue box with me and take pictures of it in all kind of situations and places. Mostly taken by my iphone, but still.

Anyhow, I'm so freaking proud over this picture!
I didn't use any action on this, just hand edited the colors a bit. And I like it a lot!

Please let me know what you think of it!

Love love love it!

This is great. ^^ The lighting is really good, and you've got an eye for atmosphere. The colors in this piece are very Dr.Who-esque and make the TARDIS look right at home next to that tiny pine come.

The sun flare is really pretty, but seems a bit overpowering. I can get used to it, but I wish it were a little less bright. ^^

I love the area you chose to take this picture at. Perfect scenery. It looks awesome as it blurs into the background, bringing the TARDIS more into focus. It's a stunning piece, and you should be proud of it!

I think this and the other three pictures you shared are incredible. They truly made my jaw drop.
I'm not a professional either, but I'll give my opinion. I studied art at uni, maybe that counts for a little, lol. The backlighting and the darker, crisper foreground draw you in and centre you on the subject, and there's a really nice depth to the background that I like. The tall straight trees make a nice echo to the shape of the Tardis, and I love the way the Tardis is set in a little pool of light. I think the composition of this is really great, though I think I would myself maybe have the foreground down a bit lower, but I tend to like things off-centre in my own work. Oh, and the colours are amazing, on this and all the others.

Thank you so much for your input!! It was really a delight to read your words Your walk-trough of the piece make it sound so thought out.... well planned. It feel like the person that took this actually made some thought and planing i this.I feel really honored over your words! And thank you for taking the time really! ^^ And, the fun part is, that these shots was rather hurried. Since I had a doll with me and the sun was setting. But then, I rarely do goo with all planned out photo shots Once again, thank you so much

You're welcome! ^_^
Well really, I would have said the image is a thought out one. On the one hand, because when you look at the image, you don't notice anything, if you know what I mean. It's a cohesive piece. And on the other hand, I don't think that just anyone can take images like that. You have to have a trained and artistic eye to see what you saw and transfer that vision through your lens and later the final image. And so it is a thought-out and considered image, you just don't *consciously* think about a lot of what you are doing because your eye is trained, the process is instinctive and automatic for the most part. And... to catch light like that and also get a strong composition at the same time, you have to be fast, so there's always a little luck in pictures like this, too, I guess
I don't do well with planned images either, most of the time. And I love it when I am taking pictures and feel the thrill of knowing it will be something special later when I see it on my screen.

It's a funny think. I read a photographers journal of how he did a shooting. I read through it and went "well... darn... that is well planned" Like with these pictures (and the coming pictures, that is from the same shot) I just went out to the forest, put it down, click click click, crawl around a lot on the ground, click click, but I never planned it. I never check my camera and change many things there (mostly, since I'm not good at the advanced camera stuffs). I feel so amateur But, I think I have had a good eye for what can make a good picture. I think that saves me a lot actually

I think its a beautiful photo... I love the colors, the trees on background and all the small details you can see on the ground. I'm not a professional to critique.
