YES.WHY IS THERE NO BLACK/WHITE SECTION IN DA WTF???
I honestly honestly honestly like the b/w version better.
Also, left DA. WTF peoples? What is so wrong about gay? What's so wrong about drawing that?
If this community really wants all artists who draw gay out of its system, then it's bye bye to 1/3 of the population. Including me, WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU.

You're right, the black and white version is better. It makes the expression more clear. The smile, the glasses, and the bit-too-long sleeves really make this picture work for me. Very cute.

You're right about the black/white thing though, so fscking hard to find good stuff to use for stenciling
Whats your inking process? i've never understood how your edges look so sharp-
Do you ink the origional before scanning, or go over sketch with photshop?

Er, stencilling? I don't stencil.
My inking process is like this: use a 0.3/0.2 to ink over the basic lines, then go over the outermost lines with a 0.5, then I ink the details with a 0.1, then I erase the pencil lines and fill in the black spaces. Basically that's it. Sometimes, though, the scanner doesn't pick up much of the black, so I go to Photoshop to adjust the levels. It still looks the same though, only a bit darker because of the increase in contrast.
