Beautiful. The wind, the hair, the cloth, the eyes... very well drawn and colored. IT was worth the time! ^^

Oh thankyou so very much for the wonderful comments! ^_^ This was an older picture of mine that I did with a piece of *BLEEP* tablet. -_- If I had my new tablet back then, I think this pic would have been better. But, it's still really nice to know that people like yourself enjoy it still! *hugs* Thanks again!

No problem. whether the tools we use are good are not, artists always find a way to make them work. ^^

Ah... *nods* that is very true. Wise words indeed. However, I will say that it makes it a helluva lot easier when you have better tools to make the process smoother and flow better. ^_^ Thanks again super much!

Thankyou bunchies! This was actually my second attempt at a true cell style cg picture and it took me forever....... I still think that I could have improved in areas on the pic (like a bg for starters) but overall, I was pleased. ^_~

Awww.... thankyou for the super wondeful comment! ^_^ I also liek the expression too. That drape damn near killed me to even draw let alone color. At the time, I wasn't dealing in using airbrush to cg my work and I did this pic in cell style. Had I been smarter, I would have used airbrush to add to the shading of this entire pic - but I was a new to everything then. ^_^;

It's a pain in the @$$. Totally. I mean, it's nothing like cg airbrushing. I preferr airbrushing all the way now. If I want a tighter shadow, I just decrease the airbrush size. I can see why people don't want to cell cg. And I can't even fathom painting in cell style cg... on that plastic sheets of all things. I painted one picture in cell style on regular paper and that alone was enough for me. Thankyou bunches for the wonderful comment! ^_^

Oh yea, I know what you mean. It really is a pain in the arse. I tried cel style cging once with a mouse even and it was wicked difficult! So yea, I stick to airbrush CGing too. Its much easier and it has a wonderful look to it as well. More blended and painting like, I think. Your very welcome! ^_^

Yes, I am much more prone to airbrushing and it does look like a painting, I tried to do airbrushing on a recent picture of mine (soon to be posted - look on DA for it) and my new tablet has such high resolution that without even realising it, I began to color with cell style. o_o So umm... my next picture is in cell style. Don't ask me how it happened, it just did. *lol* ^_^

The drapery took me the longest amount of time to draw. I think simply cause it was so freaking huge. Tell me when your b-day is and I'll try to draw you a picture of your fav character too. ^_~ Umm... who is your fav character???? *LOL*

Okaies - please remind me closer to your B-Day (say in Jan) that way I'll remember 'cause I'm really bad about these sort of things. *hugs*

Maybe I'll be all egotistical and send out a general announcement at the beginning of Jan in case any of my fans (read: you) care to make me a present. LOL

The folds are done well, but I think the blanket(?) could use some shading. Other than that, you did a really good job. ^_^

In all honesty.... I ran out of time. ^_^;;; I was on a deadline to get this done in time for Harika's b-day gift but, yes, I do intend on adding shading to the blanket/sheet thingie one day.

*bonks self* I'll have to remember that name next time. And yes, this one was taken from a cover 'cause I didn't have anything else to look at during the time and it seemed like a fun challenge to draw all that cloth. I changed the facial expresion though. He looks better to me this way. And I also have to agree with you, tradtional art is my passion, but being that I was working on a time restriction here, I couldn't do what I wanted to, which was to acrylic paint this pic. ^_^;;

Thankyou bunchies! *huggles* Yeah - she went CRAZY when she saw it! It did take me a long time for the hair because I hand shaded the hair using my crappyass graphic tablet. But, I'm happy with the way that it came out too. It still needs a color background though. ^_^; Or something....

Thankyou! I spent umm.... forever on this? My scanner didn't like all the original faint lines - had to fill in all the spaces in the lines with black before I could color it. I hope to give this pic a color background soon too. ^_^
