Cool picture!
I always thought it was kind of grim making Sebastian the patron saint of archers when he got tortured by being shot full of arrows. And is the placement of the arrows over the heart a nod to Clint's other nickname Cupid, or am I imagining things?

it is, and a nod to the Virgin Mary pierced heart that stands from the sorrows she suffered, and so for his... I really like Christian iconography xD

I like all kinds of symbolism, it's like a whole other story you have to tease out of the picture and then you're like 'OHWOW, I get it, so that's why he's XYZ and she has all that stuff..'. Particularly when it's full of those fascinating little culture and artistic in-jokes of the period.
Clint has not had an easy time of it, has he? Good thing he's got his team-mates taking care of him. In many sense of the word.

titolo in latino...iconografia cristiana...sangue...occhio di falco...ma io ti bacerei in fronte!!!
a parte che ho un debole per i disegni monocromatici/con pochi colori...poi il contrasto verde opaco-bianco verdino-rosso acceso mi sembra davvero azzeccato! vai con la tecnica del verdaccio di Cimabue!!

erano SECOLI che volevo fare qualcosa con le ombre verdi perchè danno tutta un'aura speciale al disegno, e questa è stata proprio la scusa perfetta xD
