I suppose this counts as "fanart" lol. Class assignment. We were given a list of books and were to choose one and do two cover illos for it: One for adults and one for children. He wanted us to play with the brushes and font styles.

Everyone was pretty impressed with this even though I can see all of the flaws XD But that's what improving yourself is all about. For this, the professor showed me how to vector trace my lineart in Illustrator... Holy shit, it's beautiful. I'm sure if one compared this to older CG pieces I've done they can see how much cleaner the lineart is.

I WANT ILLUSTRATOR NOW. SO BADLY~!

I forgot to mention that the teach wanted us to use our own interpretations of the characters. So I ignored the movie material and the book cover designs and researched actual pigs, rats and barn spiders. I could upload my sketchwork but I doubt anyone cares ;D LOL but Eri looked at them and thought Charlotte looked so cool she wanted me to make another one for her...
