No I am not corrupting Tintin. Yes I have seen "The Little Mermaid" one too many times.Okaaaay... doesn't neccasarily need to be slash, since there's nothing sexual (COUGHohwhoamIkiddingCOUGH). Could just be brotherly love or whatever. But it's pretty damn set in stone in the comics that Tintin was Haddock's redemption, and that he's also the person that Haddock cares the mostest about in the whole wide world. Don't lynch me.

Oooh... It makes me giggle... but it took me a few goes and reading your comment to decipher that he was flashbacking to moments when Tintin was around to take care of him.
