So, fun fact from the Trivia section of Lucina's profile page founded in the Fire Emblem Wikipedia: ( fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Luci… ) her birthday (04/20) shares the same day of the release of Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryn to Hikari no Tsurugi (aka Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and Blade of Light) and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, both of which stared Marth and Ike as the main protagonists and hold a major inspiration for Lucina (mostly from Marth, not sure about Ike though, maybe from the "I fight for my friends" motto?).

Anyway, along with the Final Fantasy Birthday Speed Sketches I usually do, some of the Nintendo characters, one including Lucina from Fire Emblem: Awakening, have an official birthday mentioned somewhere on their Wikipedia page and or somewhere on the Internet. In either case, I'm celebrating her birthday with a speed sketch damn it!

I don't know much of the Fire Emblem series (which I should after having a Melee crush on Marth), but I do know that Lucina is one of the most fascinating and beautiful headstrong swordswomen I come to know, and she makes one-hell of a Marth cross-dress cosplayer! In addition, the butterflies are her main motif, which makes sense for her name is part of the butterflies' species identification, and who cannot imagine her having a set of beautiful butterfly wings? Next birthday, expect me to draw her some!

With this speed sketch in completion, I shall contiune celebrating by listening to some Fire Emblem OSTs and eating some ice cream cake, because why the hell not?
