It's strange that this requests a critique, becuse frankly it's not really art. The womans expression is dull, square, but not so much as to portray another emotion like unamusement, or a too-cool-for-school ambience, but like she just posed in the same fasion of a teenage girl infront of her bathroom mirror.
The background is not set up pleasantly, and the colours do NOT compliment eachother anywhere on the peice. Her pose is static and weak in emotion. Infact, it lacks emotion completely, but not artistically so. It's quite apparent that NO editing has been done to better this picture. No filters applied, nor effects or anything. Also: the camera is in the picture. This can be done artisticly, as a way to add creativity to the picture, or a hipster effect, but here, it appears the woman was too lazy to get someone else to take it. Perhaps she is alone and lonely, and that is the meaning of the picture. Either way, there is no effort put into this picture.
