Ulic Qel-Droma and Nomi Sunrider were my two favorite characters from the Tales of the Jedi saga of Dark Horse. This collage is pretty darn good! When I drew Ulic once, my friend's girlfriend said my caricature of Ulic looked like Gaston from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Still, I loved Tales of the Jedi, and I own the individual trade paperbacks as well as the omnibus collections.
PS: I met the one-time creator of Tales of the Jedi Kevin J. Anderson at a book signing where he signed my two omnibus collections!

It is true. I went to a book signing at Borderlands in San Francisco (my hometown) where Kevin J. Anderson was, along with Brian Herbert. They were promoting their latest Dune novel, Paul of Dune, back in 2008.

Uliq, he who slew his brother, he who brought darkness and the rule of the Sith to many worlds before he was "redeemed" by the act of destroying what he had formerly loved. Uliq, a mighty Jedi, a mightier Sith, and a beloved character in TOTJ.
