This group simply looks fab, I just couldn't miss my chance for the Grand Opening!

I had alot of fun designing this OC, Victorian Era clothes are just fab

Margaret is a well brought up and polite young lady. She loves interacting with people and enjoys any forms of conversation. She is however aware of her powers, and she tries to repress them as much as she can, sometimes meaning that she can act quite distant from others.

Easy to get on with she is very straightforward and always caring. She is excellent in talking with spectators or anyone in general.
Always attentive to orders, the higher ups are absolute to her and she has never thought of disobeying, feeling that the Cirque Leaders only give out advice for her well being. Her trust in them knows no bounds.

However, although Margaret easily admires all her co-workers, and smallest of things are wonders to her, she is very pessimistic about herself, always finding something negative to say. Unless kept in a lively conversation, Margaret becomes self-aware and shuts herself in slightly, becoming more secretive and cold.

In whatever mood she is, may it be joyful or sad, she does not believe in gratitude and owing favors and thinks that you only achieve things by your own hardwork.

tl;dr:

-Margaret grew up pretty much seperated from her brothers because her farther did not want to bore her with the family buisness talk.
-She discovered she had powers when she was very young. Scared of them, she concealed them. She was a quiet and shy person.
-However she learned to control her powers and slowly grew out of her shyness. She married a merchant's son at 20.
-She got on really well with him, and that was probably the happiest time of her life, a peaceful one.
-When her husband's buisiness started failing, a serious fight between them made her unleash her powers against him.
-Scared to use her powers and frighten other people like she did to her husband, she decided to leave her family and town and that's when she stumbled accross the Cirque.
-After thoroughly training, and after working as a Tarrot Card Reader, she practiced reading people's hearts and pasts and managed to get her powers under control, eventually getting to be a performer in the Black Faction.

Margaret was the only girl to be born amidst her 3 other siblings. Her mother Carla Andolina and farther, Vincent Jones, were a married couple and modest merchants, having set up their own shop in London. Her brothers were destined to take on the family buisiness and Margaret, even though she was born second daughter, was brought up differently from them. Vincent Jones, her farther, not wanting to bore her in learning things that would not be of use later decided it was much better for her to be brought up as a well educated young lady, and decided that there was no time to waste, hiring a private tutor to guide her through her teachings. Her brothers occupied with learning about the buisiness and Margaret going through a tough but fair education meant that the siblings had only very little time to interact or get to know each other.Because of that she grew up alone, a nearstranger to her brothers, and it was only later, when their mother had died from an illness, that the siblings became closer.

Even when she was a young child, Margaret noticed that she was different from the others around her. She was a very sensitive child, and could somehow peek into other's hearts, learning about their deepest fears. Even though she could not fully manifest them, and she could not take up their physical appearance, she gave off an uncertain "aura" around her. Spreading anxiety, Margaret didn't quite know what to do with her "powers". Because of that, she was a very silent child, always hiding herself from others.

However, slowly but surely, Margaret learned how to control her emotions, making sure to keep herself in check. Little by little she opened up and grew into a caring young woman, admired by many.

By the time she was 20, she was going to be married to a gentleman named Geoffrey Middland. He was the first son of another big family of merchants, and although he was 10 years her senior, they both found that they were very much alike. Settling in a small cottage, he managed his own buisiness, Margaret being a supportive and caring wife at home. Soon enough, she nearly forgot about her powers and her slightly odd childhod. She was happy.

However, little by little, their gentle life was shaken, as it fell deeper and deeper into darkness. The Middlands' family buisiness was failing due to opening competitors around town. Pilling up the failures to regain their past customers, Geoffrey abandonned himself to alcohol, Margeret getting more and more nervous and also more and more sensitive, the slightest remark making her feel uncomfortable. One night, as the tension rose and the household broke out into a fight, Margaret, angry, reached out to this Geoffrey's heart and found his deepest, darkest fear. Taking up its appearance, she unleashed her anger against him. It was the first time her powers manifested so strongly.
The man, frightened, fled from her and never came back.

Ashamed, the woman fled from her family, deph to her brothers' pleas. She was scared to hurt and frighten them, losing them as she lost Geoffrey. They were very dear to her, but she still left, feeling that it was for the best, moving out from town. Going to the next, she accepted any kind of labor that would accept a lone travelling woman. They were rare and scarce and so she gave up, wondering the town aimelessly.

And that's when she stumbled upon a mysterious Circus. Intrigued, she went to see the show. Eyes wide with amazement, Margaret fell in love with the whole ambiance and took a liking especially to the Black Faction, mysterious performers wielding magic and dancing with enchanted puppets.
Finding the Ring Leader, she begged them to take her in for her mysterious "gift".
Margaret was not a performer at first, but a Tarrot Cards Reader. Reading into people's pasts and future helped her greatly control over her powers. She practiced hard at shapeshifting and copying people's thoughts she had explored whenever she was alone and discovered that it came naturaly. Her powers perfectly under control, she then integrated the performers and played out the Shapeshifter's job on stage, which she really enjoys.

Performing in the Black Faction, Margaret uses her powers to search hearts and turn their fears into reality. A frightful yet curious act.
By the age of 24, her powers are fully under control and she enjoys performing in the ring and her life amidst the other Circus members.

    +Family is very important to her. She considers the Circus to be her true family and cherishes them more than anything. However, she hasn't forgotten the Jones family as she will occasionaly writes to her brothers. They sometimes come to watch her act and she genuinly enjoys their compagny.

    +Margaret's fear of cats comes from the fact that she was once attacked by one when she was a child (she has a small scar on the back of her hand) . Now, she hisses at them whenever she sees a feline. Other animals are fine.

    +Margaret's special item is a magic orb. Bought on a small market stand, it holds great value to her as she is very attached to it, using it for her act and for peeking into people's hearts. Even though it has no magical properties and does not help her in seing unspoken fears, it comforts her into keeping her powers under control. She never forgets it.


    +She was born a doppelgänger. Unknown to her and her sibblings, her mother, Carla Andolina, came from a small lineage of Doppelgängers. However, her powers never manifested to be quite as strong, and so it was easy for her to live on as a normal human with the Jones family. Margaret learned of her species in a letter from her farther after she had joined the Cirque. Initially shocked that she was not human, she then came to terms pretty quickly with it, as it explained her odd powers to take up and copy an appearance and also her acute sensitivity to others feelings

   +Margaret loves to sew things, even though she never talks about it. It is her hobby and whenever she would have free time, she would try to do something decent. However, she is very bad at it and often injures herself or sews herself to the dress she s making.
