I wanted to do a mythical critter I hadn't drawn before.. so a Sphinx came to mind. But how to draw it? I came up with another version that I'll finish up ..some day. I hope you like this. It was good practice on complex cel type shading. yay. Prints available.Related content

One of the better sphinx models I've seen. The position of her wings and overall anatomy make her very appealing. In closing, she be hot.

In Greek mythology yes they were lions with a woman's head and chest. But in Egyptian style it can be a man's head, like the sphinx that is near the Pyramids at Giza.
