I didn't know how and why, but suddenly I found myself by his window. Where everything was surreal and strangely calm. No dark forces gathering in the air. All the colours were floating around me as if some impressionistic painting has come to life. The demon, chasing me, has disappeared.
And I wasn't afraid anymore.
