and then Lee totally disappears from the story never to be seen again.
I think that all of the ninja nine should have been killed when in the search for Saske
At least the following characters should have died, because they would have been good deaths.
Choji should have died
Neji
Kiba and his dog
Lee... maybe but it wouldn't have been a great way to die.
Neji's later dead is super lame and you don't get that feeling that it was worth it.
in fact you get the impression that Neji's life value was worth more then just dying to some giant tooth picks.
but....
I read into the seal a bit more the other day...
The seal actually limits how much a ninja can do, suppresses their chakra and a bunch of other sad things.
So even if Neji survived the attack, he would always be an unhappy and achieved ninja

Yeah ! Men, I thought about these deaths too ! I really think ...well, I don't know about Choji, I like him, but Kiba and Neji should have died in this mission, death like that would've really touched readers hearts and I think it's really cool to die like that. And I totally agree about death because of tooth pick X3
