I have a russian ex-military gas mask.
Everybody needs a gas mask.

It reminds me of WW2 when they had to make tons of gas masks for a certain population because they wre afraid of being gassed, even though there were treaties saying they wouldn't. So nearly everyone had one and it was a normal thing to have a gas mask for everyone in your house.
This makes me think of just how 'normal' gas masks were in that war. Very sad.
