Description
So basically this drawing goes like this: I sat down at my computer, opened up photoshop, and was determined to draw and color something Naruto-related. *sigh* So when will it occur to me to just stick with pencil? I don't know… Anyways, enjoy if possible.

Also, I came up with a little ficlet while I was drawing this, so I figured I'd post it here.

She should have been paying attention, really, but after the first five minutes of class Yamanaka Ino had deduced that Iruka-sensei was yammering about some great war that had happened hundreds of years ago and that therefore was something that Would Not Matter Later in Life. Sighing wistfully, Ino watched the clouds drift by, wondering what exactly her childhood friend, Nara Shikamaru, gained from the activity.

It wasn't as if she wasn't happy. She was passing high school with floating if not flying colors, her friends were numerous, and above all she had at last bested her ex-best friend Haruno Sakura by finally going out with the root of their rivalry, Uchiha Sasuke. But all was not what it seemed.

What were school grades, really? Who would care if she passed history ten, even five years down the road? And her friends were more superficial than a sheet of paper. Not to mention that Sasuke, womanizer that he was, had cheated on her so many times to the point where Ino had yelled at him to at least have the courtesy to cover up his tracks. But that wasn't even the worst. Now she was developing a crush on Uzumaki Naruto, rumored to have beaten up a girl at his old school.

She could seriously kill something right about now. But she didn't. She merely sighed heavily, and continued to gaze out the window.
