It surely took me quite some time to get Chapter 1 finished! I'm not as efficient and prolific as I wanted to be, but I'm glad to finally get it done. It's more like an artistic experiment for me as I try out different coloring techniques, which I had a lot of fun in this one. I'm so happy to bring out another major character, and I'm really looking forward to write and draw his story!
I'm also considering breaking up the comic into smaller chunks - or even pages - so that I can update more often.Song+lyrics

About supermarkets
When I was drawing this chapter, coincidentally, I saw a BBC documentary on UK supermarkets. Though I don't live in the UK, I believe most supermarket chains across the world works in a similar way. I was both amazed and shocked at the scale of consumption and logistics. I was greatly impressed by the effort put into running the business, yet I'm also concerned with the wasting of resources just to get that perfect product and customer experience. We, as customers, really can influence the choice of supermarkets, therefore our decisions really matters. I'm glad that there are more environmentally and ethically responsible products nowadays, such as fair trade, organic and sustainable products.

The title really corresponds with this character. So, from what I gather, the prologue was all in her imagination? Hm? That's interesting, what a well thought out hook!
I already found the prologue to be interesting -- but the twist to it here definitely made go, "Ah!"

I really enjoyed this chapter! I'm also very grateful for the human touch that the story telling has. It's tiring knowing that there are so many things out there that need to be changed; it's a good thing that we're becoming aware, but at the same time overwhelming trying to figure out how to make significant changes-if any changes at all. The narrating is pleasant because the main character doesn't just point fingers and demand that we make changes; she acknowledges that there are hurdles in communicating and executing such ideologies.

I'm very glad you mentioned the human touch, this is really what I want to achieve in this webcomic - expressing more on the emotional response towards change and environmental issues. There is already a lot of work out there that show dreadful facts and demand people to change, but I think a major issue is how to make people willingly accept and genuinely motivated.

No, but honestly, I love the idea of your comic and had to share your facebook stuff immediatley.
Plastic-bags are so useless. There are various products that are made of plastic and are superflous. but plastic bags are even worse since they are made from _what is meant to last eternally_ and are used...once...maybe twice!

I thought so, this monster-behind the door thing ... the "plastic" is very interesting :3 I'm excited to see what's its like. Maybe some pittiful creature that wants to save the earth with the protagonist. or maybe an evil monster or something that society itself has created
