(you've got a lot of art styles going and every single one of them is very good news indeed!)

I know this is a relatively simple image but I love it! Absolutely awesome!

Wouldn't the sallet version impede the guardsman's peripheral vision? I like how you merged the brevor with the gasmask, leading the tube out of the neck rather than the mouth will make it harder to hit. But how could a feudal world produce this equipment, aren't those types of planets stuck in medieval tech?

Well, if the Mechanicus can bring in similar helmets for their vanguards and say that they have some built in gizmos that provide peripheral vision, among other things. Then I guess the Sallets are for weapons specialists and have a hud or something

I love the sallet! Seriously good design and it's rare to see it in a Sci fi setting

These are absolutely fantastic. I almost want to make an entire regiment on tabletop based on them... hoo wee.

Armor is probably better then most regiment's standard issue.

Think guardsmen would rather have cardboard or tin foil?

Leivve In reply to thepicwatcher75 [2016-11-17 19:17:06 +0000 UTC]
Cardboard. It's firmer and doesn't rip when you move like how tinfoil does.

But tin foil doesn't melt in water.

You have canopies of dead comrades to keep you dry.
