It has long been my (admittedly unsubstantiated) headcanon that Cole has subconsciously 'adopted' Dante as the sibling he never had, which would make her confession here especially awkward for him.

Or in outher words if Cole ever dos return to being human, Dante is going to stay with him regardless... honestly I kinda figured that would be the case,
thoth based on privios statements by Dante it seems like she'd prefer for him to stay as a pokemon (and maybe have some 1 on 1 time with him in the daycare

pokemon (not counting baby spices) seem to become sexually capable within minutes of hatching
