Who will prevail?...
Anyway, our gigantic talking belief mascot can beat up your gigantic talking belief mascot.
!Just a sort of sketchy type drawing, who knows. I don't know..I might color/improve it some day...I just wanted to get it done so I could post it today since the Golden Compass comes out. I here it's not a very good movie...but..I'll see it anyhow...Heheh.

As much as I like C.S. Lewis, and Narnia, my money's on Lorek. Because if there's one thing His Dark Materials taught us, it's that whether there is or isn't a passage of spirituality after death, is that its where our lives as living beings lead us, and that can have pursue fulfillment in it as we live them as we can.
Unlike the last book for Narnia, The Last Battle, where it pans elements that seem to evoke to resent evolution (Shift the ape) and to fear the other, the foreigner or the darker skinned, or those of the religion that's not your own; and to never experience adulthood as death is better than life. (The Pevencies and their "Train Accident.")
Overall, speaking as a Muslim, I kinda lean more to His Dark Materials, mostly because of the theme on how valuable life is.

Polar Bears are bigger, true, but Aslan isn't just a Lion, he's f*ckin' Jesus. He created the entire Narnian universe just by singing. He wins.

Wow. I thought I was the only person who had this idea! Your drawing is amazing, by the way. If Aslan wasn't able to heal himself, Ioreck would have a 100% success rate! If you ever consider redrawing this epic battle, give Ioreck a flamethrower like he had in the books! sooooo kewl! And, from an artistic perspective, His Dark Materials is better than Narnia IMO.

Iorek would totally kick ass. Polar bears are much bigger than lions, almost twice the size. Plus he's got fur and armor to protect him.

Well, Polar bears are the largest land predator in the world, and Iorek has impenetrable armour, assuming Aslan doesn't turn into Jesus halfway, I reckon it's gonna be funny to watch a metaphor for God getting the shit ripped out of him. Nice drawing, you really captured the motion.

I don't think they would fight in the first place. I'm Christian but neutral about the whole conflict because I perceive it as two leaders fighting unnecesarily. However, this is an epic picture regardless.

Iorek may be strong, but let's not forget that Aslan possesses great magical powers.
I can't say I ever remember Iorek destroying an entire world in an instant just by willing it to happen.

I dunno--- both Iorek and Aslan are cool- I have nothing against Christians or Athiests or whatever, so there aren't really any prejudiced views there. So....
Iorek is heavily armoured, and could really send Aslan flying if he managed to land a punch. He's also got thicker fur and fat even without his armour, and there's also the fact that Iorek is quite agile as well.
Aslan is lighter and quicker, and he has more of a chance of actually hitting him. He's also more agile and if he could get Iorek's armour off, he could have a chance.
I would probably say Iorek would win on the off, but it would be really close. What I would really like to see is Aslan and Iorek teaming up to beat Jadis and Iofur/Ragnar.
That aside, nice work!

Anyway, how come everything always has to come down to religion? Geez, people are always tossing prejudice around. I'm a Christian myself, and I liked the movie. It doesn't matter if the author's Atheist or Jewish or Orthodox or a Jehova's Witness or anything as long as it's well written.
Hmmm... Aslan can bite. And claw maybe. And sure, his breath is "magical"... but Iorek can rip STEEL like tissue. Plus scientifically, Polar Bears have tough, thick skin plus fur. And Iorek has nice reflexes.
You know what? I DEFY EVERYTHING!! The two are actually friends and they go out for beer when no one's looking!!

Anyway, on one hand (as a Christian) since Aslan is supposed to be Jusus/God, he'd probably win over a mortal "talking beast" even with the armor.
On the other hand, all religion asside... If Aslan was just a magic-breathing lion, and Iorek was just the talking Bear in SkyIron that he already is, I'd bet 10 to 1 Iorek wins hands down.
