Egg Friends are an OPEN SPECIES by kyopal

Egg Friends are a gelatinous species that can be found in very salty bodies of water. Companies found these small guys to be very cute and have decided to sell them to people as pets.

Facts
- They are very small! Appx the size of a tennis ball
- ALWAYS PUDGY
- They can be any color and can have any patterns on them
- they can't eat! (they have no organs)
- They have a texture similar to jello and can jiggle and squish
- The inner yolks feel slightly harder than the outer blub
- They have two yolks : the main one is in the body and has a face : the secondary one is in the tail
- The secondary yolk is always bigger than the main yolk

- The main yolk can move anywhere thats not the tail but the secondary yolk must stay in the tail
- The yolks are always the same color!
- they cannot talk but speak in squeaks, mews, and clicks
- If a chunk of outer blub or yolk is picked off it will heal usually in 24 hours (appx)
- There can never be any holes in the yolk or body

- The outer blub is almost always opaque but the yolk is almost always solid

Reproduction
- Egg friends have no sexual organs (or any organs lol)
- Gender can vary i guess? (its really up to the owner since they arent sentient enough to understand gender)
- To reproduce, a chunk of yolk and outer blub must be taken from the friend
- The blub must be surrounding the yolk
- The new beta egg will grow into a new Egg Friend!
- The new Friend will have similar traits to the parent but will never look exactly the same
- Two Friends can reproduce as well!!
- If yolk and blub is taken from two friends and mashed together they can make a friend
- The new friend will have similar traits from both parents
- You can combine as many yolks as you want but it is recommended that you do not exceed three different parents

Traits

- Egg friends can have extra body parts/growths on their blub or yolk!
- They can even have small wings! (cannot actually fly)
- Air ubbles can sometimes appear within the blub (but never the yolk)
- Sometimes the blub can be goopy
- Extra bits of yolk can sometimes surround the yolk
- Yolks can have up to two colors on it (any markings are fine)
- Sometimes the yolk is transparent! ( kind of a rare occurance )
- The yolk can sometimes have three "eye" slits

- Tails can be curled up, a bulb, have extra growths on them or can be folded
- Any shape is fine as long as the secondary yolk can fit in the tail

Feel free to make your egg friend look like whatever! They are a very malleable species!
You may make Egg Friends for personal use (ocs) or for profit (adopts or trades)
