"Maybe you should’ve taken my advice and changed into something you can afford to dirty up, eh, Luna?" The voice from the ground retorts. "Unlike you, I was smart enough to take off my shoes and roll up my sleeves."
"Can it, pretty boy," She says, putting her hands on her hips. "Or do I have to beat your sorry ass to the ground again?"
"Heh! I went easy on you that time. Two outta three."

Happy (Belated) Birthday, Phishy! Q u Q
I started this a few days before your birthday but I got all stressed out and really fell into a huge slump and didn’t have motivation to work on it. u n u I’m still in a slump and all, but I’m also really freaking sick right now. So I had time to work on it!
The weird light spots are supposed to be from the tree’s empty areas but I still think it looks weird…TT v TT I was also set on trying to cell-shade this one but I ended up painting most of it. Ah well.
This was the first time in a long while that I actually worked with a "big" canvas-- which I guess isn't that big. I know when I first started using a tablet all my canvases were like 1000 x 1000 + and now I work on smaller canvases (ie- 500x500). To tell you the truth, this started out waaay smaller with just Luna in the picture but I figured I'd put Heren in too- so I had to expand the workspace much to my reluctance. But yay for trying new things! Which I did a lot of here! It's been a while since I did a legit lineart, and I attempted to actually lineart this time! I tried to make a background, I really did. I probably should consider using references for drawings though because I didn't even think twice about Luna's pose or background and what is lens flare?

Anyway I hope you had an awesome birthday (looks like it from the birthday pictures) and here’s to another year filled with more fun and adventure!
