i guess this would be a speed paint at just over 3 hours.. well for me, since normally i would spend 9+ hours on it..this is a page from my sketchbook - so the initial sketch was mypaint and the final paint done in Krita.

This one is not really composed or such - it feels natural.
(movement, composition, colourchoices, all of it)

could be. Β since its a calm/subtle pose, warm palette - i've wondered if people just find it boring. Β no sharp angles, no contrasting colors, and no crazy perspective. Β i like the painterly quality of it.

Very nice.
I like to work the same. MyPaint feels better for sketches and building up the drawing/painting and then use Krita to fine tune. I think what it is, is I like MyPaint's brush engine better, while Krita has the tweaking tools and effects.

Thanks! I completely agree - sketching in mypaint feels very natural.Β I do like the brushes in Krita as well for their textures and blending modes.
