Another mermaid. I had a lot of fun painting her
. She was for the Mermay but I'm late so... I'm having my Junmaid? Merjune? Mermune? Idk.I hope you like it!

The coiled tail and the flared wings combined give her an almost cobra-like look. I really love the fuschia-magenta-black (outside of her eyes, which look really cool and pop delightfully against the other tones of the image). Her dagger is really interesting to look at and echoes the rough, tattered design of her fins. You managed a really strong sense of space and weight with how you rendered her, as well. Overall I think she looks like a vicious rogue. ... and then she has cute little ears that almost remind me of a butterfly's wing, which also sort of echoes the backfins. Really lovely work, from the final rendering to the initial concept. Great job!
