Cant wait for Saints Row 4!
One of these would be great for pro touring, at least as far as appearances go. Can you buy the car in two pieces? Buy the engine, then take it home. COme back and tell them you have an engine for one of these and you want a car for it to go in.

The only car chassis, frame, body etc. that left like that was a 1969 Mustang convertible, where the guy working the claw threatened to quit right there and then unless the car was saved. He bought the car and is now a restored beauty! I have heard of people trying to do that but it is like a 1 in a million chance to get things out. This is sort of a graveyard for any car sadly...

Man, that's sad. They should have special considerations for classics. I know they can make more money selling it as parts, but they need to consider that letting somene like you take it home is good customer service and you'd be more englined to keep doing business with them and in the process they're savig a classic. Not to mention thhere aren't a lot of these running around anyway, so it's just taking up real estate until someone who HAPPENS to be looking for parts notices it.

Such a shame that a cool Pontiac like this is going to be crushed. If it weren't for that, I'd say just put some new wheels and tires on it, make sure everything works, and drive it as it is. Don't even bother fixing the paint and body. It's rough, but that's what makes it so cool to me. Plus, I love that shade of purple paint. Awesome snapshot!

I forgot to mention the motor isn't there anymore, the way the car seemed to have had care to pull the motor kind of shows the engine has been gone since before the yard. As I came by it someone looked inside, grabbed the rearview mirror, yanked it out and just walked away, like the car was nothing. It's such a damn shame to see people treat these cars like that, I found one piece of it about three cars down as well, just chucked away. Poor car deserves a better ending than in a Pick-N-Pull...

They'd probably want an excess of $2000, and a. it's sadly not financially valued at that and b. I don't have the stupid money thanks to some other cars. Pick'n Pull doesn't really sell cars that are in the yard, but I'll hopefully be headed back to pick the grill, bumper, lights and some trim and interior pieces before it's gone to the land of car heaven.
