Description I thought I would practice my coloring on this picture. The main thing I was worried about was the ribbon tieing- drawing the hands and making the ribbon look like it is under tension from the neck to the hands and then lax below her grip. I think I did pretty good, but I look forward to feedback.



This particular drawing has been through A LOT... I've had it for awhile, and I had to use a sharpie to blacken all the smudges and comments from my little brother (he tried to forge his name on it)

Time: 2 1/2 hours plus coloring & a slight bit of editing on Paint to sharply sharpen the sharpie hehe


If anyone recognizes this character or the original artwork, please let me know and I will credit the artist & rename the picture...

Awesome drawing, I can see that you put much effort into your stuff and it works out damn well at the end, her expression is exactly what I expect from anime girls and the colours are believable, keep up the good work mate!

Thanks- I'm glad you like it so much! It didn't turn out quiet like I envisioned, but I'm still happy with the final. I'll try not to disappoint in the future, though.

I really like this one, great job!
The colouring looks good, the hands with the ribbon are awesome and the eyes are pretty much perfect

I feel really dumb now because duh!, it was named "sakura wars" on my computer. Thank you for telling me, though. I just thought someone felt like naming it that.

yeah "sakura wars" is just a
movie. I havn't seen it for a while
but I remember a drawing I attempted to
do of her....it didn't turn out very well.

I drew it about two years ago though
hopfuly since then I have improved.
