Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!
Wow! This picture took two days to finish, but it was worth it! I'm really proud of this one!
I decided to use a more gradient style of shading because they're out in the sun... and it gives the illusion that it's pretty warm over there (or so I thought) I'm especially proud of Rouge, this is the first time I've drawn her without looking like crap! 
Her shorts are a little low.. but... uh... 
SO WHAT! I'm not a perv. 
I modelled Sonic's clothes after Captain Jack Sparrow's in The Pirates of the Caribbean, but I dunno if you can tell or not...This is my entry for the ~SonicxRouge summer contest! Yes, I support Sonic x Rouge, deal with it!
I'm pretty sure this qualifies, but I didn't make the background, so I'm not sure... O_O but if it's not, I can re-submit it with a drawn background, but it'll look crappy... I probably won't win, but hey, I had fun drawing this! so, booya! EDIT: I STRONGLY suggest fullviewing this. Looks much better.

I tried to make their color schemes sort of a red-brown theme, but it got thrown off by Rouge's shorts thurr. >_O

Oh man...this is awsome! I love the vibrant colors, and the facts that thier both pirates! Sonic est zupar zexay....(weeee...fun spellings!) Though I don't really like Rouge, you made her look good! Actually you make me kinda wanna look into the SonicxRouge relationship at bit...maybe.(I is a SonAmy supporter if anything though X.x)
