The coloured oldie. I'm pretty pleased how the drake turned out but not background and the scanner didn't recognize yellow gel ballpoint pen leaving it white.Woodless, watercolour pencils, black, blue, yellow gel ballpoint pens

The dragon is really nice, but the background is the same tone of blue than him.. maybe if it was lighter it would be better.
I know itΒ΄s hard to fix a finished draw, but for the next time you try to do something underwater, keep it in mind

Well, in reality the yellow colour makes him stand out, just the scanner can't recognize that colour. Jeez, I wish dad could let me take a photo of it

Yeah, that yellow comes from gel ballpoint pen and, as you know, my scanner doesn't show that type of media, if it's of a strong hue

Nice work with the pens, how long did it take you?

With pens it didn't really take long - one layer of yellow scales (scanner doesn't recognize those, sadly), on top of them blue ones - maybe 1,5 h of time (if we don't count intervals of colour addings).

Thanks, though, I wish, that scanner could recognize gel ballpoint pens (hue too strong, I guess), 'cause now it looks like drake has only cold (exept redish)colours when in reality it looks much warmer

That would have been nice to have the yellow come out, it does look like it was suppose to be a warm picture not so much a cool one. Still though, it came out very awesomely. (:
