For some reason, Falstad Wildhammer from Warcraft comes to mind, even if this gryphon rider is a holding a spear amd not a hammer

I have a very little knowledge when it comes to the warcraft lore and gryphon riders are pretty much staples in many fantasy genres as far as I'm concerned lol.

Maybe I should research more on the warcraft universe and make a piece out of it.

my first sighting of gryphon riders was Warcraft 2 Beyond the Dark Portal, with Kurdan Wildhammer, i haven't seen gryphon riders aside from Warcraft

Warcraft has a very deep lore to it, 10000 years of actually recorded history due to immortals, a lot of this lore was witnessed by Illidan Stormrage

Illidan is also my favorite character in Warcraft, so it would amazing to see you draw him

Couldn't help myself.

Most of Ironforge thought the same thing, though Falstad got a raw deal for a while...

i believe that's one of his jokes in Heroes of the Storm, don't remember of the top of my head

yeah, it's even mentioned in Heroes of the Storm (because Thrall is voiced by the writer of Warcraft's lore, Chris Metzen) this was a minor meme among Blizzard fans, i don't think Metzen will hear the end of it

It was one of the gryphon riders' numerous joke lines in WarCraft III.

Ah.  Nope, I don't think they will. Though it probably pales compared to the likes of Leroy Jenkins and Juraxxus

From what I know, Falstad kept an eye on Aerie Peak while Kurdran Wildhammer was fighting to stop the second Horde invasion on Draenor. Upon his return, Falstad was practcally cast aside.. things got worse after King Magni of Ironforge turned into a crystal and his daughter, Moira tried to strong-arm her way to the throne..

i didn't remember much of the phrases in Warcraft 3

i doubt so either, Blizzard has made many Leroy Jenkins jokes

yeah, many stores, i believe it was Varian who formed the Council of Three Hammers

I'm surprised I still remember a handful of them. .

And there's the infamous Onyxia wipes  bits. (see Raid master origin)

Yep, the Blood in the Snow scenario.

These days the only one i remember of warcraft 3 is from the demon hunter "darkness calls... But he never answers when i call" it spawned various jokes in heroes of the storm

Yeah world of Warcraft has spawned various memes over its lifespan

Varian was a very productive high king, though i don't know how that scenario goes as a horde player

Far ad I know, the Horde has the "Dark Heart of Pandaria" scenario. From what I know, it had Garrosh riding mass excavations to find powerful relics, resulting in unearthing the Heart of Y'syarraj..

that was all the result of Garrosh being left to his own devices

did you stop playing after mists?

As Vol'jin said- he be more like his father, even without the demon blood. Though instead of legion blood,  the power of the old gods was just as dangerous...   War Crimes is one of my favoritie novels, though Shadows of the Horde is really good, too.

Oh, I don't play WoW, but I do enjoy a lot of the stories, and there are people who know a lot of the lore- my usual source is Nobbel87 on youtube- he can be considered one of the WoW loremasters.

I haven't read war crimes, I know someone on a YouTube channel who hates Anduin for his actions in that book

He is a real good source for the lore of Warcraft

Anduin is a bit naive, but he has shown he will do what is necessary when push comes to shove. Confronting Garrosh and stopping the Devine Bell is no small feat (though Garrosh did almost kill him in retribution). He has much to learn, but I think, he may yet become the king his people need. If Varian can change for the better, so can he.

Put Nobbel, Cho, and Deckard Cain( the Diablo games) in the same room, you get the ultimate "Stay a while and listen" achievement.

He hasn't much time now that Varian has been oblierated by Gul'dan in Legion, honestly, the Alliance is falling apart now more than ever

Yes

That much is true, though going to the Broken Shore  is a good starting point. THough I do worry about part of it- at least concerning Jaina- she's still in her vengeful mindset, and I fear sooner or later, the legion could target her- dreadlords are pretty good at manipulating people's fears and doubts. Come to think of it, the same might be said for Sylvanas- she's been pretty set on preserving her undeath (though  Greymane has made it clear he hasn't forgiven her for Gil'neas and for his son's death) instead of leading the Horde, so far.

Attackrage92 In reply to ravenf6 [2017-07-11 02:34:50 +0000 UTC]

I honestly think greymane is gonna end this expansion in a cell, jaina's absence is yet to come into play, sylvanas' activity has been extremely shady, and the horde leaving her to her own devices, just like Garrosh

ravenf6 In reply to Attackrage92 [2017-07-11 02:41:55 +0000 UTC]

Rumor is there may be something concerning Hai na
The next expansion is said to concern her home of Kul Tiras. Haven't heard much in that area since her father, Admiral Daelin fell in his vengeful war against the Horde.

And yeah, bad idea for the Horde to have that situation repeat. Unless the Loa told Vol'jin something we don't know before he died....

there's something Vol'jin knows that we don't
