Description More pictures from the subway in Oslo

An escalator at Stortinget metro station in Oslo, Norway.
I heard on the radio that the subway stopped completely a few hours earlier today because of some trouble at this station (all lines have to pass Stortinget). I'm glad I rather was in DrΓΈbak driving in the snow

Did I say that I love my wide angle by the way ?
It's amazing how long shutters I can have handheld at 10mm, without the pictures becoming too blurry.

Post-processing
Adjusted the wb to a cooler one and lightened the picture a bit in camera raw.
Turned up the contrast with a black and white layer set to overlay (60%).
Cropped the picture, sharpened a bit and removed some noise.

Good photos of metro!
...and I was amazed by Oslo; do you live there?

Thank you very much, and sorry for the extremely late reply.
I used to live just outside Oslo, not among my favourite cities in Norway, but I love the metro

When you said, "It's amazing how long shutters I can have handheld" - I heard, "It's amazing how jealous Andrew Miguelez can be."

Haha, it's just to save up for your own wide-angle, I sure do recommend it, cause I love mine

I wish I could afford the nice lenses. I have my eye on two right now, but they each cost more than my camera + the 2 lenses that came in the kit. There's no way I'm spending that much money on a hobby.

My wide-angle cost slightly more than what I paid for my camera, and that did indeed feel very weird, but still I'm extremely happy that I did buy it (even though there will probably be ages before I can buy a new lens...!). A few years ago I wouldn't have done it, so I really understand you, but photography is starting to become a bit more than a hobby for me.

Escalator to heaven! This reminds me of Mirror's Edge a bit, lovely clean colours.

Very, very cool picture! Love the tones and the light.

But what I'm a little confused about: is it a regular escalator that is completely blurred (and then I'm really impressed) or is it a moving walkway?

Love my wide angle as well! Never would give it away

Thank you

It is a regular escalator, but it is pretty flat at the top, and the top seems longer because of the wide angle. The rest of the escalator became completely burned out it seems, and it looks worse at this screen than it did at home, so I think I'll see what I can do about it when I get home!

I could never give away mine either, I just absolutely, completely love it

At my screen it looks good. I like that "glow" at the end and it makes the escalator appear flat.

Thank you
I paid around 660Β£ for it here in Norway (now the price has gone up to almost 800, I'm glad I bought it when I did)
But it was totally worth it
