I drew this picture last year, but I finally got around to coloring it. Completely colored pencil, my wrist is still aching. I was trying to get the cel shading effect, but sure if it worked, but I'm really happy with it. My black pencil is about half the size it started with. But it was worth it! Simple, yet so pretty. And I loved Hiei's cool expression. Yay! I'm going to hug it!Oh yeah, and I need a background color. Any suggestions?

Thanks for all of your comments and suggestions. I just relooked at the picture and I realized I still have a lot to fix up. I have to go over Yukina's skin with white again and shade Hiei's hair just a tad and the background, which I'm still not sure on since I like the purple background, but I also like the snow idea too. *Sigh* Don't you just love it when you think you're finished then the next day you realized you still have tons to do? But that's okay, I still love it. Hiei goes with me everywhere. *huggles picture*

That is so pretty! You did an excellent job on coloring. As for the backround color, maybe a light blue at the top fading into a red? I dont know, but blue and red are my fave colors!

I was thinking purple too. It's Hiei's color after all. But I didn't want it just flat purple. Kind of...cloudy purple? What thinks you on that?
