i have this scenario in my head for some time so i decided to draw this one-shot strip
what always makes me interested in their relationship is that Frederick is a human being who'll eventually gets old.
sometimes when I imagined their story, it somehow has that Benjamin Button or The Time Traveler's Wife kind of feel, where two people who (both of one of them) happens to have a time condition, meet in the middle at some point in time and fell in love :') FEELS
i'm not sure which part of Sanssouci they're at... I haven't been there and I tried to do some research but got a little confused coz some parts of the palace was built by different kings/rulers in different time and I'm not sure which parts of it were built in Frederick's time :'D I was thinking they're chit-chatting at the Orangery but I'm not sure whether it's a suitable place and when I read articles about it, it's not mentioned that it's built in Frederick's time so I didn't use it yet.

Wow, I just... I love this comic. It really shows what kind of person Prussia really is when he's not, you know, goofing off. It's like another side of him that people usually never see. I find it pretty sad, and how he knows that he will stay when Frederick will not. Kind of like that episode in The Beautiful World, Though I May Depart, You Shall Remain. T^T
