Just finished Ginga Densetsu Weed anime, and it was great. I don't know if I liked it or Ginga Nagareboshi Gin better, honestly. As far as characters go, I think I like Gin better than Weed. I definitely think he's cooler. So I drew him.This is the adult Gin, on his way to the ground from Ohu's fortress, Gajou. Gajou is a big pile of rocks and logs that's full of tunnels and passageways. It's the homebase of the Ohu dogs' army. I had a VERY hard time painting those god damned rocks. Drawing Gin and shading Gin took a few minutes. Those fucking rocks took HOURS. I hate backgrounds.
I still had fun drawing this though. I hope to draw more in the future...particularly of Akame, Kyoushiro or the Kai brothers. Again, this is an awesome series. You should watch/read it if you haven't. Later.

I finished the GNG anime a few days ago, and I agree that it's awesome! I really like Gin, and the Kai brothers too. You captured Gin very nicely here, I like the speed lines 83

Hmmm....you did a fine job with the rocks, cartoony style on Gin and the shading but there is one problem in this picture, I am not talking about the rocks, it's just that Gin looks way toooo long when he's jumping.

I did try to exaggerate his length to show movement...tell me, what do you see as cartoony here? When I think cartoony I think of Bugs Bunny and goofy styles and such...I'd really like to kill that if it's in this image.

Very well done! Very pretty and scenery sucks... I'm trying to get out of "giving up" and "cartoonize"ing a RL scenery pic I find off google... LOLOLOL... but I'm finally getting out of it and it's proving to be nerve racking. Backgrounds are most always harder then the actual subject it seems alot...to me anyway... LOL

I don't know enough about him, 'cept that he hated monkeys and he's dead. I dunno if you're reading the manga in Japanese or Swedish or somethin', but I ain't found it in English...not that far along, especially.

I read it in chinese, there are manga libraries in Malaysia.
