I managed to get some photos of the head dress I made and wore as part of my Swan Maiden costume for Halloween. I was dressed as Odette: The White Swan from Swan Lake.Related content

That was one of my favorite movies as a kid! What gave you the idea for that costume?

Well, I didn't have time to make an entire costume this year, so I went with just modifying an old one. Basically, I already had a plain white tutu from a ballet performance of Swan Lake that I was in. So all I had to do was add some embelishment to the tutu, make the head dress and put on some feathery wings that I also had from an old costume.

Unfortunately, I didn't really get any good pictures. My friend took one shot but the light wasn't the best and I forgot my camera at home.
