It looks amazing, the way it move with you is perfect. I've only tried simple miniatures, but they always turn out way too stiff. This one you get to see how someone could move and wear one. (The wig looks awesome too btw).

Very much. The lining adds personality but is brutal in stiffness, while nontraditional fabrics get the fludity but not the texture.

The wig is wonderful! And the poses make it playful and fun. I cannot even tell its a wig at first...Sneaky you are!! Vintage is always awesome!

Thanks! One of the first reasons why I got this wig is because it was slightly discoloured from its age. It's actually a very dark brown instead of black. The awesome thing about it, though, is that it matches my own hair colour exactly. So, it blends into my hairline very naturally and hides the fact that it's a wig. XD

Yowza. That really is stunning.
I love how the colors are on the ends, giving it a kind of organic feeling to it. The compliment to the obi makes it very elegant (not that a kimono is usually not an elegant garment), and the entire ensemble is quite lovely.

Thank you! Do you mean the design on the kimono or the pattern for sewing the kimono? The design was already on the fabric. It was dyed in the traditional yuzen method probably a couple of decades ago when the fabric was made. As for the sewing pattern; I bought this as a karinui piece. Meaning that the fabric was already cut and very roughly stitched together. I basically just had sew it together more permanently, add a lining and finish the collar.

Well, in terms of patterns kimono are relatively simple - almost entirely straight seems. They're actually one of the most efficient garments (in terms of fabric usage) in the world. Honestly, you buy a bolt of kimono fabric and at the end all you have left are the bolt ends and a couple little pieces you cut off when making the collar. Maybe one of these days I'll post a kimono pattern/tutorial.
