Nice shot! I agree that the depth of field was a good choice. Its a very interesting photo! I like that you didnt come all the way down to his level as I think it would have looked more like a photo of half a cat if that were done. Great expressive eye! I also like the golden sunlight on his back. I have to say that I think its a male! Let us know next time you meet up with him! ha! Im enjoying your work in Rome! Keep the photos coming!!!

yes, I agree, the slight inclination from up above does it good - I really like it when you cannot see the horizon... keeps your focus on the subject.
yeah, got photos waiting for up-load but I need to see some of yours first, my friends... oh, I wish I had the net connection already at home.

Very nice, I have to agree on the depth of field, it really focuses you on that look he's giving...
He almost looks as though he's planning his revenge for you taking the picture. It's hard to tell with cats somethimes...

she doesn't look lovely
great photo by the way and fantastic timing/composure, the F/4.0 was a good choice aswell to make everything blurred exept the subjects face which is the images focal point
