A design for Delcatty that I made late last month!I really love Delcatty, but it is so irrelevant and competitively useless that it is very hard to use.

That's true, but it also makes it different from it's final evolution form C;

I LOVE the design, but i must suggest something different about it's typing and ability.
giving it the Fairy typing gives it more weaknesses, yes, immunity to Dragon is fun and all but since Fairy was introduced, not many Dragon types are used as much as they were back in B/W.
i would say, stay as pure Normal, and have a new ability that's a combination of Normalize and Scrappy, so it has STAB with everything, you can Thunder Wave Ground types and Toxic Steel types and be able to hit those pesky Ghost types.
Assist would be a good move choice here for Delcatty, while most of it's moves are pulled from the rest of your team.
Still, i REALLY like the way you've designed this. <3

Fairy also works well against common competitive types like Fighting and Dark, so that's why I opted to go with Fairy rather than keeping it Normal. I wanted mine to be as competitively viable as possible and work as an aggressive attacker rather than a bulky wall. But your reasoning is very good too, I always forgot about the Normal type Thunder Wave and Toxic xD

Delcatty is one of my secret favorites in all honesty. Made me pretty sad when I had to sacrifice my Skitty in my Alpha Sapphire Nuzlocke. Really wold have been cool to see her Mega Evolve if Game Freak had done something like this one!

And the same thing was going through my head when I had to sacrifice her, but then I was like "It's you, or the Zubat I've grown oddly attached to darn it!" And things went bad from there... Definitely we should have an at least partially Fairy-type mega if Delcatty gets one to give it a good decent power boost!
Huh, interesting on the Water/Fairy Mega Milotic. I would have gone with Water/Dragon personally. That way, the creators could make it sort of more like an eastern dragon in design than it already is and it would be beautiful! (I'm dragon biased though, so my opinion is invalid. Plus, I've always thought that both it and Gyrados were based on that legend of the fish who swam up a waterfall and became a dragon, so yeah...)
