Our fur doesn't change silver. we're born with either white or brownish-red. It doesn't change. Trust me I'm a kitsune and so is my twin brother, we know this stuff. GORGEOUS ART THOUGH! I LOVE IT! ^^

Ah, I see. ^^ Korean δΉε°Ύη, unlike the Japanese η, are born as normal foxes (we chiefly have red brown, grey and the occaional white) but once they reach their mytcal status of a δΉε°Ύη, nine tails and all as their name implies, their fur turns silver or gold.
Still, it's nice to understand from the perspective of a η, whether they have nine tails or no. ^^ I'm glad you like the piece though, ancient as it is.

I absolutely love all the little details you put into this, like the jewlrey and the design on the kimone. The background just sets the whole mood for this pic, its quite fantastic.

Such a gorgeous kitsune! =^^= One thing though-- A kitsune will gain a new tail every 100 years that they have lived, and they live about 1000 years, at which point their fur turns white, silver, or gold. They can turn into humans their whole lives, though. (Or by some sources, age 50.)

Lovely detail, especially in the background. I like the way you did the fur on the tails, but the tails themselves look a bit too skinny to me... foxes, and I would assume kitsune, tend to have big fluffy tails. But that would make it awfully hard to draw nine of them, I guess. Anyway, very nice work (:

The colors are beautiful and the face is prefect. Though I think the arm holding the pipe is a bit long. Could be my eyes...

Awesome, I love the kitsune... in anime-land that could so be a boy too. So you made that background? It's great, what did you use to color the whole thing?

Fantastic. What I like here most are his hands (nails exactly) with so strange, bloody fingertips. And the second thing is incredibly soft transition of colours and shades on it's clothes.
