3 months work on Photoshop
Wacom Grapphire 3
The concept is nothing amazing, and pretty cliche, so I think you can already tell just by looking.
Not very confident about doing well this year. The fact that this piece is pretty boring plus the fact that I won last year are both huge disadvantages towards me ;_;. But no matter, I'm pretty sure I did my best.Plenty of anatomy mistakes (the guy's f***ed-up leg, the girl's dislocated arm, horrible hand etc etc.) But I am happy with the colours, though I wish I could have added more clothing details.

EDIT: This got 2nd Prize, and got me a Nintendo DS Lite. X3

Great coloring, I love the contrast between the two of them.
Even if the idea is clichΓ©, as you said, it doesn't mean it has to be boring or not so nice. The effort you put on this piece is visible in the detailed folds and tones, the great shadowing and the composition. I love how you painted the gems and the background suits the couple really well.
