Remember in "Fight to the Finish?" William once said he "has a score to settle with XANA," and I think that means he wants revenge for what XANA did to him. I don't blame him, but I'm not so certain that's the right way end it.

Who wouldn't want revenge for being held captive while your body goes off wreaking havoc on your friends and humanity? I feel awful for the way the group treated him. And then (of course) he was possessed on Earth and I'll bet you ANYTHING that if William had been on Lyoko, he could've helped Franz Hopper. Maybe even saved him.

Well, I can assure you that it's not all the group's fault. If all that excitement hadn't gone to William's head, he would've learned to fight XANA and his monsters, sooner. Besides, remember what Yumi said at the cliffhanger of Season 3, "he can be such a hothead." And she was right! Not to mention that he was jealous of Ulrich, and vice verse.

Yeah, I know William really messed up. He messed up bad, and he should've listened to the group. He paid for it, hard. I just wish the group had taken that into consideration when they excluded him though. I don't think William's necessarily jealous of Ulrich, just of his closeness with Yumi.
