um, this was supposed to be a sketch for but i think it turned out horrible, all streched to the side, so im probably gonna re-do it, if i have the time.

however, this pic did serve a purpose in that it allowed me to at least temporarily bypass my stupid artists block. i dont know why. i havent been able to draw other fanart characters for a while now. maybe its cos ive never drawn sailor moon before. or anything in a similar style. i tend to stick more to a different style. not sure how to describe it.

i had to use several reference pics for this since i hade very little idea what sailor moon looked like. like her uniform and stuff. ive watched maybe one episode in my whole life. yeah, yeah, youre all going; 'youre an anime fan, and you havent seen sailor moon? where've you been living? under a rock!?' but i dont even know why i never saw it. i guess its cos when it was shown on tv a few years ago, i was like 10 or something (omg, that was 7 years ago!!), and my *cough cough* realtive who shall remain unnamed wouldnt let us (me and my bro) watch lots of 'evil' tv shows. oh yeah, he's a religious zealot. according to him, anime and manga are created solely for the purpose of taking over the world through kids and teens. yeah. im not kidding. this is seriously what said unnamed person believes. now im all for being open minded about other peoples beliefs, but WTF???

okay. im gonna stop obsessing now. now, how did i get so sidetracked...? meh.
