Description There is more to a good model then just boobs. A good smile can light up a room. I like this one of a lot because of the natural laughing smile. I don't quite remember what was said to make her laugh but in the fashion of a true photo ninja, I took advantage of the moment to catch a good natural expression shot.

Character is Yoko for Gureen Lagann. Taken at A-Kon 20 in Dallas, TX.

Freckles (GDI1 on DeviantART) is the model. I am her photographer but I am sure she'll be delighted with your comment. I took a peak at your Yoko and it looks great! Look forward to more!

That's a great photograph, Kuragiman, of a lovely young woman who's one of the best Yoko Ritona cosplayers I've ever seen. But why does GDI1 not post any photographs of her Yoko cosplay as Deviations herself? There's not a single one to be found in her deviantART Gallery.

Well.. This was her debut of the outfit so prior to A-Kon she had no photos of it period. I pretty much did a great deal of her shots at the convention. I guess I should note her that it is okay to post her pics that I did of her to her account. ^_^

I want to weigh in here and say you make really-good photographs, Kuragiman! Yeah, I noticed GDI1 has posted a couple of them as Deviations now. (She's a stunning Yoko Ritona!) The world will be a much happier place, I'm sure, if we get to see more photographs you've made of her!

Ah, A-Kon. I miss it. Good looking girls who know how to cosplay. I haven't found any good anime cons to go to yet out here in San Francisco.

San Fran? @_@ Damn.. just up the road in LA you have Anime EXPO. That largest con in all of the United States and its loaded with beautiful cosplay and girls.

Yeah, but LA is about 8 hours from here. I used to live in Flower Mound, which is about 45 minutes from downtown Dallas. Plus, I left most of my Kon going friends back in Texas so I could come out here and finish school/ get a job with a game developer or animation studio.

There's a con in San Jose every year that I might look into next year (too broke right now).

brave woman.

Kuragiman In reply to Hatter13 [2009-06-06 14:43:17 +0000 UTC]

Nothing brave about it. It's confidence. She has nothing to be ashamed of and what she is wearing is just a bikini top and black shorts. If she was wandering around downtown in a micro thong bikini that would be something but this is nothing.

I'm sorry. that sounded insulting, and it wasn't meant to be. I was implying that she would attract alot of attention, which I wouldn't be able to do because attention scares me.

I understand. Some people can't handle it. Others flaunt it. Like I get nervous myself when too many people are around me watching me work.

lol, You remember when we were walking down the street to go to the second site for the photos and I had said, ' I wonder what people are thinking when they see me in this.' And your said, 'You're hot?' and I went, ' That too. But this has to be a sight! Where I come from, a bikini top and short shorts are every day wear!' XD

I know. Texans are not accustomed to beautiful girls walking in downtown in bikinis and short shorts. I am surprised you didn't cause any car accidents from rubber neckers.
