This did help but i'm using PE 10 and the default brushes makes really thick lines when you use them, do you think you can help me out?

Kuneria In reply to Rito11 [2012-07-24 21:51:24 +0000 UTC]
it may be a setting on your tablet
what tablet do you use? C:

A bamboo connect tablet.

Kuneria In reply to Rito11 [2012-07-28 21:26:20 +0000 UTC]
Uhhhhhhh....
Hmm, well it should be pressure sensitive, so when you open PS... does it do that all the time?
Perhaps it's the brush size, or brush type.
you need to pick a brush where the thumbnail looks like a fox-tail rather than like a... wiggly cucumber ... if you know what i mean xD
π: 0 β©: 1
Rito11 In reply to Kuneria [2012-07-29 19:56:26 +0000 UTC]
the brushes doesnot look like a fox tail, they look like this [link] i'm not sure you would call it a wiggly cucumber.
π: 0 β©: 1
Kuneria In reply to Rito11 [2012-07-30 07:02:35 +0000 UTC]
that's a wiggly cucumber xD (i didnt know what to call it .___. )
But yeah, you need to pick brushes that look like a fox tail like the one shown in the tutorial
another problem could be that... You need to plug in your tablet before you open up Photoshop Elements
try doing that,
and if THAT doesnt work, it might also be that your tablet software is outdated, you can download a more updated software for free at the Wacom site online.

another question...how do you...finish the picture?? like i'm done painting it, but is there a button that says "oh hey ur done?? well see click here and then your picture actually becomes a picture, see?" something like that -.-

Kuneria In reply to caboosemcgrief [2012-04-14 00:04:04 +0000 UTC]
Uhhh yeah, once you save it, it is by default a PSD file right?
So when you want to publish it click "Save as..." then the little saving window comes up then under where you type the name it should have the name of the file.
Click on the pull down arrow and it should give you a list of ways to save it
you want to save as PNG or JPG (I recommend PNG)
hmm...
HERE
I MADE YOU A DIAGRAM:

I hope that answers your question x3

It's all Adobe Photoshop ELEMENTS 7, all of my tutorials are for PSE 7 xD
OOH!~ Is it the Artist Kanvus 127?
That's the one I have xD It came with PS Elements 7 and a trial for Corel Painter
but I know a lot of tablets come with PSE d:

I'm thinking about getting the Wacom Bamboo Create.. For 200$, I can get that tablet, the pen, Autodesk SketchBook Express, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Corel Painter Essentials, and Nik Color Filters. A few other things, mostly how to work it, obviously.. For 200$, I don't think that's a bad price for all of that.. Unless you can suggest something cheaper and almost as good?
π: 0 β©: 1
Kuneria In reply to Nakia-Valkov [2012-04-11 00:07:10 +0000 UTC]
Uhhh I wouldn't usually recommend the bamboo too much, but I've never tried the Bamboo Create... I've read reviews on it and it does look pretty good compared to the other bamboo products!~ and 200 bucks is not a bad price at all~
The Tablet I most recommend getting is the Wacom Intuos (but that's like... pricey >.> )
I think you should definitely get the Bamboo Create!~ (don't get any other bamboo product though... they are questionable)
Looking at the reviews... I might actually get one myself!
Uhhh My tablet that I have, the Artist Kanvus 127 is cheaper by like 50 dollars (mine was 150 bucks) it's slightly bigger than the bamboo create and it has fancy gadgets and comes with photoshop elements
and it had a good run... for a few months...
the Tablet pen tends to lag... which is THE WORST thing that can happen to a digital artist, and the pen is like.... falling apart all over the everywhere.... like.. I can't even begin to tell you all the things wrong with the pen right now... it's... a mass of tape and rubberbands at the moment... and the tablet driver software has A LOT of glitches that happen randomly and for no reason... and costumer service sucks (because there is none..)
...If you were looking for a cheap BIG tablet, this is the one for you xD if you were looking for a tablet to use for the long run... I suggest getting a Wacom x3
but yeah
totally get the Wacom Bamboo Create.

xD Hahaha, I really enjoyed my time with digital art.
MERHER, I rarely had photoshop... ever since the CS2 came out with a trial I downloaded every single trial after that, So i only ever had photoshop for like a month every year or two xD
But I always used Sumopaint.com
it kinda sucks, but it's REALLY good for people who dont have fancy programs like photoshop

o snap hey i have a question about photoshop and such...
so i made the background a fill, the color white. so that worked for a while, but now i'm trying to make the ACTUAL background (you know, the blank nothingness behind the actual drawing)a graduate background, but i can't do it without making anything in the drawing that is white have a graduate fill as well; you know, because it's kind of clear...help?? and am i making any sense...
π: 0 β©: 1
Kuneria In reply to caboosemcgrief [2012-04-11 01:47:11 +0000 UTC]
OOH, i used to make the same mistake... you need to learn to do the background BEFORE you to the actual art
but right now, what you could do it color in the background like you need, then take the brush tool and brush on the white directly ON THE BACKGROUND layer UNDER your completed art in the areas where you need the white.
I hope that helps~
