I seem to be doing a lot of versus pictures lately.This is a drawing I made of Steven engaged in an epic stare down with his evil, fan made, alternate universe counterpart; Steven Diamond. Steven diamond is not my creation, Steven Diamond is an AU created by the incredibly talented Yasmim Louise. Although I did make an adjustment to the placement of his gem to make him more like his mom in the official series, Steven diamond is entirely Yasmim Louise's genius creation. I made this piece to show that I'm a fan of her work.
In case you're wondering though; in the Steven Diamond AU, instead of being the son of Rose Quartz, Steven is the son of Yellow Diamond. (Though that was probably obvious) But unlike other "Mom-swapped" AU's, Yellow Diamond was still evil, and Steven was raised by Peridot, Jasper and Yellow Pearl to take his mother's place as one of the members of the Gem Homeworld's Great Diamond authority. And while not fully evil, I would describe this Steven as a tyrant in the making. It's a good AU that gives Steven what every great hero needs; an evil doppelgänger.

(Connie Quartz was running through the crystal fields, she looked around.)
Connie: Steven... Steven, are you here?

Steven:...thats sounds creepy......
Connie: i know......
the two started to walk but all the sudden......there was a person cloacked in all Yellow......he was standing there and he was taller than Connie
????: intersting.....so in this timeline that piece of Trash bred with a human
Steven: who are you??
????: You....
the person pulled off his mask to reveal it was Steven diamond
Steven Diamond: you are trash...booth of you i the son of Yellow Diamond will make sure you are.....taken care of

While Steven diamond summoned a great sword and he tried to stab Steven and Connie but he missed everytime
Connie and Steven took off running until they gotten the warp pad and warped back to beach city
COnnie: PEARL!!! GARNET!!!
Connie Q and Steven was about to say something more but all the sudden a.....portal opened up and the two dissapeared

Steven Q and Connie where inside the temple talking
while the crystal gems where planning something until Connie Q and the other steven fell on the floor....
Connie Q: ow...that....was horrible

(Connie Q looked at Steven Q and was shocked. She got up quickly.)
Connie Q: That portal... same one he used.
Steven Q: What are you two doing here?
Connie: And why are you wearing Steven's outfit?
Connie Q: Look, it's a long story but we need to get out of here right now, there's another one of us coming-
Steven D: He's already here.
(They look behind them and saw Steven D. standing there... menacingly!)
Steven D: And here i am, the original universe, with you gone the rest of you should be a trifling matter.
(In response Connie Q. and Steven Q. both summons shields and step forward reflexively. They're surprised at first, but they stay determined.)
Connie Q: There's two of us now, and you couldn't even touch me before. What hope do you have to beat us together?

Steven D: have you forgot a Diamond is the most powerful Gem ever??
Steven D lungded at Connie Q and Steven Q grabbed him by his neck collar and threw him
Steven Q: why do you look me?!
Steven D: i am you, from another timeline.....i am the orginal.....the Purest while the rest of you are Trash!!
Steven D tried to tackle Pearl but he was too slow
Pearl then summoned her spear and stabbed him in the side
Steven D: SLUT!!
Pearl: WHAT?!
Pearl tried to stab Steven Diamond but she was too slow....and Steven D punched Pearl as hard as he can.....making Pearl fall over....
Pearl:......(Cough) die
Garnet grabbed Steven D by the neck and started to throw him around
Steven Diamond: come on you fusinon!! your fucking weak!!
Steven Diamond grabbed Garnet and kicked her into a another room
Steven Q punched Steven D hard enough he fell over
Steven D:.....intersting......
Steven Diamond made a portal and he escaped......
Connie Q started to use her healing spit and started to help pearl

Connie Q: No problem Pearl.
(Connie is sitting in the corner with Steven.)
Steven: You okay?
Connie: Yeah, it's just... seeing a version of Steven like that... he was so strong, but so evil.
Steven: I know, it was weird for me to.
Steven Q: Me to. But i'm more concerned about how strong he was, I was afraid he was going to... poof us.
Connie Q: I'm glad that he couldn't, I just wish I could have helped you stop him.
(Steven Q waved his arm.)
Steven Q: Nonsense Connie, if you're anything like the Connie I know you're totally awesome and great at fighting.
(Connie Q blushes.)
Connie Q: Well... I don't know if i'm that great but...
(As they talk amongst themselves Garnet shambles towards them, clearly hurt.)
All: Garnet!
(All Connie's and STeven's rush towards her.)
Connie Q & Steven Q: Are you okay?

Connie Q:.....explain what??
Garnet: why is there more than one Connie and Steven in this room
Steven:.....umm.....connie why don't you explain?
Connie Q:......have you guys ever heard of alteravite timelines??
Steven Q:....yes.....
Connie: wait a minute....if my dreams are right your the daughter of
Connie Q: rose quartz in my timeline?? yes
Steven Q: WHAT?!
Steven:......and if your connie isnt the daughter of Rose quartz......that would mean.....i'm the son of Rose in this timeline.......
Steven Q;......what is going on??
Steven:...well in our timeline me and connie where playing until.....well Steven....Diamond im going to call him came.......and all the sudden he started to attack us...
Garnet:...........i dont know what to do......

(Connie Q sighs.)
Connie Q: Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do. We got here through some kind of portal and it closed as soon as we got here.
Steven Q: That Diamond version of me just disappeared on a whim. Why is it he can control those portals but you can't?
Garnet: I don't know. Now one has ever truly tested how powerful DIamonds actually are and because he's hopping in between timelines I can't predict where he's goping or what he's going to do next... we're on our own.
(The group seemed to be sullen for a moment, until Steven came up with an idea.)
Steven Q: Is there... a device that could help us?
Connie: WHat do you mean?
Steven Q: It's just... I remember the gems made a device that could travel through time, couldn't they have also made a device that travels to alternate timelines as well?
Pearl: If it is possible, i've never heard of something like that.

Connie Q: then what do we do?? i mean i have to get back to my version of the crystal Gems and my father
Pearl:....i know......i have a idea.....
Garnet: what is it??
Pearl:.....on the moon-base there is another secret.....computer........
Peridot: you mean another one like the one Garnet smashed??
Pearl: yes.....but the problem is...... it's linked to me and me only
Garnet: wait why would it be linked to you??
pearl:......some things are better left off
Amethyst:....come on its not that bad
Pearl: I SAID NO!!!

Garnet: Alright Pearl, we won't push you anymore. But we do need to get up there and use it if there's a chance that it'll allow us to travel in between timelines.
Peridot: i should come with you. In case you need technological support.
Connie: But how are you going to get up there?
Steven Q: Same way we did last time.
Steven and Connie Q: Lion!
(They look at each other surprised.)
Steven Q: Oh, you have Lion to?
Connie Q: yeah, he's a real sweety.
(As if by magic, Lion appeared behind COnnie Q. H rubbed his mane up against her and started lightly growling.)
Connie Q: He's not even my Lion and he still likes me.
Steven Q: Aw, he's just a big old cuddle buddy.
(Steven Q hugs Lion.)
Steven Q: Yes he is, yes he is.

Steven Q and his connie got on Lions mane while the crystal gems and Connie Q got on lions back
Lion started charging and running as he was getting ready to teleport
it was 2 minutes later Lion was and everyone else was at the moonbase......
everyone got up and they started to walk around
Steven: this is COOL!!
connie: this is my first time being here
Connie Q:...i been here once.....
peridot:....you have??......wait so everything that happened in this timeline happened in yours??
Connie Q: like??
Steven Q: where you eaten by a giant bird monster??
Connie Q: yes and i met a Gem named Jasper
Pearl: intersting.....but we're near by......( mumbles, i said i would never come here again for a thousand reasons )
Garnet: what was that??
Pearl: nothing
every.....seen a wall and pearl was punching at the wall.....to reaveal a secert room

Steven Q: Whoa!
(They all go into the room together, they see a beam of light in the middle.)
Pearl: I'll get it.
(Pearl starts walking towards the beam. Suddenly, two laser turrets pop up out of the ground and begins charging up.)
Connie Q: Pearl look out!
(Pearl doesn't even bat an eye, she casually summons her spear and deflects every laser bolt that comes at her, finally charging up energy in her spear to destroy them both with one shot.)
Pearl: I know this place too well... it isn't a threat anymore...
(When Pearl reaches the light she puts her spear inside. It glows for a bit and soon it transforms, it becomes more embellished and has blue, pink, and yellow crystals on it, she takes it out and brings it to the kids.)
Steven: What... is it?
Pearl: This is the Diamond scepter, an item of great and terrible power; it has the power of every other Diamond infused inside of it. Rose asked me to guard this item with my life because if it fell into the wrong hands... it could lead to the end of the universe. But, you need it to get home and I trust you with it.
(She hands the spear to Connie Q.)
Connie Q: Thanks Pear... but we can't go home quite yet. We need to stop that evil Steven.
