Klingon technology might be inferior to Federation technology on most fronts, but when it comes to weapons, it stand to reason that a warrior race would have developed superior weapons. In TNG we could see that even their handheld energy weapons are superior. The Phaser of the federation could not compare to the Disrupters of the Klingon Empire!

that may be, but still their ship weapons didn't compare to Federation weapons. They could deal some damage, sure. Especially the Vorcha ships. but a squadron of Birds of Prey, very OLD ships, tore through Dominion lines. While it took several Federation heavy cruiser to take down ONE Jem'Hadar battlecruiser.
I need an actual explanation on why specifically the Klingon weapons works so well.
It also doesn't help though that the Federation was utilizing 80+ year old class ships. Miranda and Excelsior are of the TOS and TMP era, fuck were they thinking? If the Enterprise was being decommissioned by the time of Search For Spock, the Miranda and Excelsior starships would have been taken out of the line decades ago. Yet I saw more of them than the Galaxy, Akira, or Nebula starships.
yeah yeah i know, they pulled every resourses. And it is cool seeing them in more use, but they were shot down in SECONDS of charging into battle.
i might as well add that clustering that many ships so close together is fucking retarded

The best weapons of the Federation were the Photon Torpedoes, and the Federation personnel were trained to be less ruthless than their adversaries. Going into a battle with limited resolve is never a good thing. In most cases it's Kill or be Killed. Klingons being a race of warriors believe in never holding back. Yes that has not always served them well, but against the Dominion, it certainly did! They most likely won their skirmishes against the Jem' Hadar by using the element of surprise. And those Jem' Hadar ships were not as advanced as we might think. After all they were in service to the Founders, who placed them on the frontlines as sacrifices to their cause. The Jem' Hadar were controlled by the constant dependency on the drug "White" that the Founder's had them on. Never a good strategy for war to have your troops whacked out of their heads. The Dominion only held the upper hand because of sheer numbers, and the help of the Cardassians. That was not going to last long though as every other race in the Alpha Quadrant had allied themselve to combat the threat.

Actually, the Dominan War proved the Organians right when they said the Federation and the Klingons would work together some day.
