Simply put I was saving; I bought a PS4 to kill the time, lets call it Wilson from now on I bought the laptop because I'm starting a study and need to prepare.

Thank you! What did you build? I'm planning to build my first keyboard this year. I'm really hesitant what materials I should go with. I'm worried that the common 1,5mm alu-plate is not sturdy enough? But I can't really find any heavy duty plates though. I really want to build a 60% version of The Tank aka my Filco MJ2.

I've build a 60%! I've got the Input Club Infinity 60% PCB, a anodised aluminium case (silver, so it matches the aluminium off the Macbook and it's a pretty big case) and a aluminium plate.

I don't notice any flex with the plate, with the switches attached the board and plate make a solid piece (if that makes any sense), I should add I don't have the universal plate, it's specific to the layout I've got, I can imagine the universal one can be less sturdy.

Ah, okey! I'm a international person myself. Their keyboards looked good, I for sure goes well with the Apple computers.

I mostly worried about the sound the keyboard makes when you type on it. My nightmare would be if it sounds cheap.
