What a shame! It was magnificent in it's day. Strangely enough it seems when a barn is abandoned it loses heart and soul and soon collapses or decays. It seems regardless of age of the barn, if there are still animals kept under it's roof, it retains it's life.
The property we owned previously to our present day farm, was an original homestead with a barn similar to this. At the time we lived there it was in constant use for my horses and milk cows, however when we moved and it was left unused, and it has now fallen into decay - soon to be dismantled. So sad!

I've seen these things here too, it's a shame these old buildings just go to waste, but beautiful too.
